St. Kitts and Nevis Appoints a New Director to the ECAMC Board
February 2, 2023 – Antigua and Barbuda: The Chairman and the Board of Directors have welcomed the appointment of Mr. Shavon Douglas to the ECAMC Board of Directors. Mr. Douglas’ appointment was made by the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, the Honourable Dr. Terrance Drew.
Mr. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from St. Francis College, Post Graduate Certificate in Project Management from University of Bradford, Master in Project Management from Universidad para la Coorperacion Internacional, and Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
He has worked as an Assistant Branch Manager at M & T Bank in Buffalo, New York, a Personal Banker at Carver Federal Savings Bank in New York City. He has also worked at Development Bank of St Kitts and Nevis for ten (10) years and climbed the ranks serving as a Senior Project Officer, Senior Business Support Officer and as the Manager of the Business for Support Unit. He was recently appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Development Bank of St Kitts and Nevis.
The ECAMC welcomes Mr. Douglas to the Board and look forward to working with him in achieving the ECAMC’s mandate to assist in reducing the rates of non-performing loans within the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union.
