Biography

Mr Antoine was appointed to the Board by the Minister of Finance in the Government of Grenada on
13 March 2026 for a term of three years, taking up the Grenada seat on the Board. Mr Antoine serves
on the Audit Committee and the Credit Committee of the Board of Directors.
Mr Antoine’s career in the banking industry spanned twenty-seven years, from 1991 to 2018. For the
greater part of that career he was employed at the Grenada Co-operative Bank Limited, where he served
as Senior Manager, Programme & Strategy, with special responsibility for project management and
strategic planning, and as a member of the Bank’s Management Team, having earlier held the positions
of Senior Credit Officer and Senior Recoveries Officer. As Senior Recoveries Officer he supervised the
Bank’s Loan Recoveries Unit and received the General Manager’s Special Award for Outstanding
Performance for his dedicated leadership and commitment in its establishment and operations. He
subsequently served as a member of the Bank’s special team on the non-performing loans portfolio and
prudential standards constituted in response to the 2008–2013 financial and economic crisis. Prior to
joining the Co-operative Bank, Mr Antoine served at the Grenada Development Bank from 1991 to 1997,
rising to Senior Project Officer with responsibility for the appraisal and management of development
projects and loans. His earlier career included service in the public sector and with non-governmental
organisations in Grenada.
Mr Antoine holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies,
St Augustine Campus, is an Associate of the Institute of Canadian Bankers, completed the Senior
Management Seminar of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and
holds a Certificate in Para Legal Studies from the T.A. Marryshow Community College.
